Thats the same computer my friend has... Er.. Had, before I ripped all the components out of it and installed a new system in the case.

Sounds like you had fun doing it.. i might do it to this computer.. i don't know, i'm still saving for a Laptop..

If he doesn't want to overclock the stock heatsink and fan is just fine, and if he doesn't want to get another 8800 gts then he doesn't need a SLI enabled motherboard, but I'm almost positive that it is a SLI mobo.

Still, he build himself a monster machine not a new MiauMix flavor :fail:

its not SLI mobo but im not planning on doing that so. there is another PCI-E16x slot though

havent looked into other cooling options yet.

your Puter is pretty close to mine :D
except i got the 768 8800GTX and only 2gb of ram.

How vista working these days, is it getting any better at running? i havnt really paid any attention to the patches and service packs so i dont really know, but how is the performance now?

it runs great... i was going to get XP but after reading alot of the complaints people had with vista it was mostly the people that updated from xp. all the people that got vista for new hardware said it was good.

what frames are you getting in UT3 bro?
