Don't forget to use minecraft.modacity.net to connect.

Oh and the first 10 minutes after you join will probably be laggy as h*ck because your game is downloading the world again......

Minecraft doesn't cache worlds, does it?

Why? It'd just have to re-download everything anyway in case any of the chunks had been edited.

Because not every single block changes every time we rejoin the server. The computer should be able to ell the server what the last map cache was, and then tell the server that it only needs chunks that have changed since that time.

Or they could just code the game in something that isn't Java.
