No. Unless you go ridiculously high up, in which case, you will die when you hit the ground (or before, depending). There is no in between.

thanks man. but one more. Is that only in PC? or was that on halo 1 xbox also. Because I dont ever remember being able to do that.

good news,just found out that you can make a new game type and then you have the option to make flag carrier able to drive or not:)

Just to summarize:
-Many Options (including Driving with flag, and even choosing wether energy sword can break or not (i think) can be customized.
-Keyboard and mouse keys can all be mapped to your liking.
-Vsync can be disabled by adding -novsync to the 'target' box in the shortcut.
-Mouse sensitivity can be changed.
