I think that is auto-aim when MC dashes forward or lunges with a weapon while doing a melee attack (excluding the sword). I saw a video on youtube, where they had Halo 1 compared to halo 2 (xbox versions) and they said Halo 2 Xbox required no skills and is "noobified".

autoaim is when it moves near the person so you can shoot better. the dash is a lunge

I seemed to notice the lunge alot in Halo 2 movies. It seems to me like it takes away some of the purpose of the energy sword. Sorta weird huh?

If it required no skill, then wouldn't we all be at the same skill level?
Halo 2 Xbox requires skill in alot of departments.

Is it possible to script in kill frenzy, kill trocity,etc from h2?
Also the Triangles on the Br dont look to well textured because it looks more engraved in h2

thats with bumpmapping in halo 2. halo ce doesnt support bumpmapping on weapons, vehicles or bipeds.

I've goten one of those last night, well, it was more like 3 or 4 of them, shot gun shot to the head, no shields, small map, and lots of people, is fun.;)

if i rigged the elite to mc's bones it would be possible to have it as a permutation but the animations and legs on the elite would be screwed up looking. its better to have a good looking biped than two alright looking ones.

no we didn't the builds shown in those pictures are from like a year ago. there wont be destructable vehicles in multiplayer only single player. and theres no boost either cause ce boost is horrible.

Very nice comparison. I noticed in Halo 2, you can get hit by a grenade much more than twice, but in ZMT maps, u can only sustain 2 hits. (I'm talking about when you have full shields). Can you guys fix that or not? I know from the regular game play when you have health bars, you lose 3 bars out of 6 for each grenade, thus killing you once 2 hits impact.

basicly the grenades you can just weaken them to a 3 hit kill. Also the reload/melee looks wrong on sniper and melee is 8 hit kill from front on z team. and the reload for the br looks wrong too.

Also the hand on the sniper should be further up the gun when you melee. the recharge health I dont think is possible. Just a question why on zteams maps you see the circles so well but on the xbox you can barely see them? Is it because of lighting?

I don't blame Victim, I'm sorta with him on this. You shouldn't complain about the little things, worry about the bugs and major problems first, then deal with the medium things, and so on. You shouldn't freak out about 2 angles that are almost side to side...

ok I'm sorry. some of the big glitches is the flag doesnt capture sometimes.
Some small suggestions to work out later: lag, and flag doesnt fly very far like when you throw it in h2

lol if i find it hard to pass to the sanc window in the mid. The only way i can do it is to run, jump then throw.
I will test the flag when they release midship because you should be able to throw it from the bottom to the top of the base.

melee lunge isn't possible in ce since melees use damage_effect tags instead of effect tags. damage_effect tags only inflict damage while effect tags enable the use of other things like a particle effect or to spawn a garbage tag or many other things.
