Every platform gets the BF3 open beta so everyone gets some lovin' before Oct. 25th.
Just got through with a really intense match on harvest day. Both teams got stuck on the second set of MCOMs. It was really weird, on the second round we completely depleted the attackers tickets but we still lost somehow...dunno wtf is up with that. Entire match was nothing but machine gun fire and tank cross mapping, tracers arcing over the hills. Ended it with 14 and 7. Was a really awesome match.
The 3rd set of MCOMs on that map piss me off, because it's damn impossible to destroy if the defenders are holding good.

General skill point acquisition based on performance that affects a point standing towards your platoon.
...what I gathered.
The better you do in-game, the better your platoon will look in leader-boards and other standings. This is all my conjecture of course.

It matters for your daily score. My K/D is 0.79, but I have a very gung-ho playing style. Where most people will sit around in a location and pick the enemy off before moving in, I run in and wreak havoc to put pressure on the enemy. As a result, I get killed all the time.
