I do believe its until youre 16, not sure though, have to read my law notes some more.
Fuck the law... if they try to, say "sue me".
Excelent screen, dusty desk. :neckbeard:
You have to try to dust a desk?
Actually the desk isn't dusty at all. http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c2...s/confused.gif
My keyboard, however, is filthy. http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c2...wesomebert.gif

Actually, I lie, the elves where there on Christmas Eve as well, but I didn't take a picture then, so all that changed was the mouse (upgraded from a Logitech MX 518 to a Logitech MX Revolution). Plus the monitor (upgraded from a Viewsonic 17" CRT to a Samsung SyncMaster 24" Widescreen)... Also the two LG Chocolates you see are new, the ehite on is my moms, the black one is mine.

nice wallpaper u got there
I have seen the goat lair, my life is complete.
Also, I would take a picture of mine.... but its le' dirty.
Nothing wrong wiht internal units. As long as it's not a shitty kit at least.
My rad is internal and it works perfectly fine
Obviously, I was going to point out that all kits are shit compared to custom built cooling setups... However, these are decent setups if you want something pre-built:
http://www.memoryexpress.com/Product...X6313(ME).aspx
Koolance? OK, but there is far better out there.
For a prebuilt system?
Go with a Swiftech kit (especially the H2O-120 and 220 Compact).
Here is my Work station!
This started out as a $200 computer with: 32mb Video card, 256 mb RAM, and a 15in CRT monitor! P.S. and no speakers... and now here it is with: 256 mb ATI 9250 video card, 2GB SDRAM, and a 19in HD flat screen monitor. P.S. and a speaker system!
By the way! don't mind the date on the picture my camera is off date...

Kekeke...it's a Dell :awesome:
i got this computer like... 2 years ago so it was back when DELL made ok(not good but ok) computers, so i'm happy, and besides i'm gonna be buying a HP laptop soon..
Hopefully later my new motherboard should arrive, so I'll post some new picsin this postdown there when I take them.
EDIT: GAY FUCKERS, UPS DELAYED THE SHIPPING TO THE 8TH FUCK :gonk:
Sounds like you had fun doing it.. i might do it to this computer.. i don't know, i'm still saving for a Laptop..
just got it:
CPU - Intel-C2Quad Q6600
mobo - Asus Maximus Formula X38
ram - 4gb Gskill DDR2 800
gpu - Nvidia 8800gts 512
psu - Corsair 520w
hdd - seagate 500gb
OS - Vista 64bit
runs crysis highest settings like BUTTER!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...OR5/pc_002.jpg
2x2GB?
Stock Cooler?
No SLI enabled mobo (can't see 2nd PCIE_16x)?
Still :awesome:
If he doesn't want to overclock the stock heatsink and fan is just fine, and if he doesn't want to get another 8800 gts then he doesn't need a SLI enabled motherboard, but I'm almost positive that it is a SLI mobo.
Still, he build himself a monster machine not a new MiauMix flavor :fail:
your Puter is pretty close to mine :D
except i got the 768 8800GTX and only 2gb of ram.
How vista working these days, is it getting any better at running? i havnt really paid any attention to the patches and service packs so i dont really know, but how is the performance now?
what frames are you getting in UT3 bro?
can i see more details on your ram? im planning on getting some 2gb sticks.
Well this started out as just a few upgrades for a store bought HP, lol. Now all that's left of the original is the HD. Don't pay no mind on how messy the desk is, lol , its been awhile since I've cleaned it off. yea i know i need to manage my wiring better, but it still stays nice and cool even at full load.

http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h2...m/CIMG0568.jpg
Holly fucking jesus!
look at the size of that heatsink!
Zalman 9700? I just ordered the black version.
i've got the same one. pretty nice tbh
Yup that be the one. I absolutely love it.
Make sure to clean it once in a while.... (see page 38)
Ok, I have some pictures but do to the fact that my room is a cave in terms of lighting the pictures came out crappy. I'll take some better ones tomorrow if I get a chance, but here are two pictures of my comp in it's current state. I toyed with it earlier and got it up to 2.4 GHz but didn't try beyond that. I know it can go higher though :D.
Everything all at once:
This rig doesn't actually have the 8600 GT in it -- however it does have an 8800 GTS 512MB :D. The 8600 GT is currently in my other comp which I hope to turn into an HTPC eventually.
You'll probably notice the thing covering my ram. My ram was running pretty hot with the restricted airflow in my case (due to my radiator being in the front), so I fixed it with things that were within my grasp at the moment, and my ghetto-Dominator-style ram cooler actually works pretty well all things considering xD. It is made from cardboard, a faceplate for a 5 1/2" to 3 1/2" drive adapter and an old 60 or 80mm thin profile fan from a socket 462 cooler. If I can get some free time soon I hope to design something like this but with actual metal or plastic that clips onto the DIMM slot. EDIT: =< Like this:
Who cares if it looks good or getto man.
just as long as it works :D
Looks crowded Timo :S
E:
LoL, nice crotch fan o/
^I lol'd. Hard. :lmao:
How many Watt's is that setup Timo?
According to the manual it's 600W, 200 for the sub and 200 each for the speakers. I guess that's probably crap, although it was a $400 stereo 5 years ago. I sometimes can't count the right speaker as I have to give the main unit a good whack on the side to keep it going :p
All you gotta do is re-melt a solder point or two, and it'll last a couple more years. Get a solder sucker and redo it right, it'll probably last another 5
There may be a do-it-yourself type web page for it somewhere. I've seen such things
so i just rearranged my desk. i moved my 2nd and 3rd pc out of the space and finally moved my large format printer to a more discreet location... which would be inside my tv stand. Having it like this is much nicer for me, since now i have room to do my sketches and pastel renderings again.i really need to get a roll-out section for my keyboard and mouse.

Nice phone, careful the 90's might call and want it back. But good thing you called no trade backs.
Tis more of my setup

As apposed to the typical computer guy's setup, I hate Soda. It's water and green tea.
I synergy the PC and the MacBook together, and unlink it (Mouse and Keyboard towards PC) when gaming of any sort. The MacBook is the dual, the PC is standalone. They're both networked to the same external, and if I boot into Vista for example on my MacBook, it's the same drive location, for backburner or Distributed Rendering. The PC is 64 Bit Vista, and the MacBook Leopard/Vista HP.
Usually I have a black light on as well, when watching a movie or gaming/chilling, which is setup on the wall.
This seriously gets the job done. References on one screen, Photoshop on another screen, 3ds on the PC screen. For gaming, map references on one screen, chat/voice/music on another, gaming on PC screen.
I also have VNC set up on both, internet controlled, which I usually control from my iTouch, PSP, or another computer. Works flawlessly (though a bit slow on the iTouch/PSP, it still works)
All in all it's a bit awkward to use the setup because I am a lefty, but I could never get it right considering the way the table is designed. Right hand mouse is no problem. Every place I've been has it set up to be right handed, and I've grown into it over the years.
Needs moar Specular MOAR!
also black lights are awesome bro, but there a bit bad for ya aint they :/
@LinkandKvel
Same PC I have but the grey is spray painted black and on the side there is a blue 120MM fan.
I thought his room would be illuminated in bloom.
Also, Ecstasy on top right shelf.
You still have the same laptop as me :O
^^In the second picture, it looks like your desktop is located in the bathroom...hehe, I loled.
I spy with my little eye a sticker on your computer that says Ubuntu.
Open Source Revolution ftw

My laptop setup, ill get my desktop later
FUCKING SHOTS TAGS PLEASE.
Jesus tap dancing christ on a pogo stick doing the macarena >______>
i resized it, shot tags never work for me
what? there easy, you just go [shot]Img location (photobuckimage7856.jpg) [/s*ot]
i know how to use them, i meant like, everytime i apply them, it doesnt resize it, it just puts the 800 x 600 resolution written in text at the end of my post
Don't use [img] tags in [shot] tags?
:woop:

Also, looks like you need a new chair.
I detect a bit of a fire hazard.
most ghetto of thread award goes to Llama Juice for the following pic.

I don't smoke, those boxes were from the gas station I used to work at... before I moved... five months ago...

That's my like.. "work" station. My "fun" station is my macbook... which is on my lap.. otherwise I have it sitting ontop of one of my "stands" around the house...

If I were to put MY ghetto setup here, you would be dethroned. Unfortunately I seem to have misplaced the pic. Let me see if I can find it...
