Much better, though the vents still need work.

what are the vents?

The ten pits in the heatshield (immediately beneath the rail). The bottoms have to be darkened quite a bit. Also, don't neglect the magazine release.

@ Ross: You'd see it every time you melee, though. If it has as simple a design as you described (which it sure looks like based on H2 screenies), all it would be is an imprinted low-detail tube with minor embellishment at the opening; it should be affordable. :(

True, but you'd only see it for a split second and it'd be moving rather quickly.

We'll see how it goes. If it's not too much of a pain to do and I have polies to spare, I may as well.
