I mean, they don't have to glow like the plasma shots, but just a different glow.

Yes, glowing tracers are entirely possible. H2CE's beam rifle has a glow to its tracers.
But why the hell would they "improve the look of battles?" The muzzle flashes are cool enough, thank you. You ask for ideas as moronic as your name, .:}_50Çã{_|neاâ€*yles<â„¢>:.
Anyway, the tag space could be saved for something more practical, like a human blade (bayonet) on the underside of a rifle (to substitute for the apparent lack of a combat knife). Stabbing an unshielded target from the front can potentially do more damage than simply clubbing them. And against Flood, the bayonet might actually do some damage, like shearing off limbs.

I don't think he wanted a GLOW, as in huge assed fucking blob of light, but just for the tracers to actually look like real tracers. That's what I'm doing to Halo PC right now, a slight lens flare so they look bright. Oh also, it wouldn't affect tag space. Like, at all.

Why not just add a dynamic light to the tracers so they illuminate stuff around them... ross did that in one of his oooold pc mods.

I played Oblivion one time against someone. It was only the two of us, but it wasn't that bad. I still have the map, though I never use it. I just thought it needed some work, thats all. Back on topic, do we really need the tracers? I mean, it would kinda make it better, oh what the heck, let Masters decide. I don't know what else to say so I'll end this post.

I can't believe you guys are debating this. Of course we will not make them glow. Extra lights on the trancers, when thers a bajillion of them being fired, means lag.
