I hate, freaking HATE the guitar hero buttons cause of how difficult it is to press them. I love rock band guitars since they're inlaid and easy to press. Since we've got like 5 guitar hero's and only 1 rock band I thought I was kinda farked. Until I got the idea to merge the two. I call it the Franken-tar. Rock band neck and guitar hero base. Bottom set of buttons works just like the top in case you feel like using it. The only thing wrong with it is lefties(such as myself) will find it impossible to hit the orange note on the bottom set of buttons. But I don't use them so it's okay.
It doesn't look like a total hack job, so pretty nice. Also, I totally agree about the buttons.
Nice, that's definitely the best from both guitars.
Just took it a step further. The bottom set of notes I inverted. That way you can switch to and from lefty or righty by simply flipping the guitar and playing the bottom set of notes. I did this because a lot of the guitar heros you can't switch in a song and sometimes my brothers switch off when they need to do something. I believe I have made the best possible combination now. Also, because it's a guitar hero guitar, it STILL works with rock band. :D
