Haha, I was just thinking about how Tiger camouflage doesn't really make sense, even though it apparently works.
The stripes and spots break up the outline on the animal, it not necessarily a thing of blending in with color, it's that for the tiger, living in thick woods, has stripes because the trees also go up and down, and these stripes simulate shadows and also far trees going up and down like any other normal tree, so it works actaully quite well, same with zebras in tall grass, and leopards, lets say the prey has the high ground, and the leopard has to cross sparse areas, the dots tend to break up its outline too with the rocky, sandy ground. Also another thing is that a large amount of animals are color blind, so it doesn't really matter what color it is. :eng101:
