Modacity Minecraft Server

What server does you guys use? CraftBukkit?

i opened my achievement menu. minecraft crashed and java said it ran out of memory. on my 8 gb machine. no.

Maybe the issue with 200,000 blocks is meant to be there? It would cut down on map file size if you explored past 200,000.

There's still chunks past that limit, just very little above-water terrain. You're still storing the same amount of data going out till the literal map limit.

If you want to crash the server, just shift click into dispensers :S

So I got this game, but it seems to run like complete shit. I can run DOOM 3 maxed out with 60 FPS but this game that looks like it could have been on the SNES is killing me. Is there's something I can do to get better FPS without making the game even uglier than it already is?

Re-program the game on anything other then Java.
