ok, i worked on the gundam a little bit today and then watched the second bleach movie, Diamond Dust Rebellion from dattebayo.com :-D anyway, it's late so i'm not gonna start on the gun tonight. and since i model from bottom to top , the head is last every time.
i decided to put it into bird mode without the gun or head. the shield has been scaled to 115% since this render.
The rear of the shield has too much of a curve downward. I don't believe it curves that much.
Pretty good model, how many tris?
we're quite quick to post arent we teek? but the shield has multiple different looks. i combined em into what i felt was most accurate and looks best.

270 tris for shield, 236 for beam saber (hidden in shield), 6752 for gundam. 7258 total
and here's one my ref for the back of the shield. remember i combine refs cause none are ever the same :'(

Oh the inconsistencies of traditionally drawn anime. It's actually hard to believe Gundam SEED, SEED Destiny and 00 are actually rendered with filters. The shield will do then. I'm anxious to see the buster rifle though. :-3

Because he's a hardcore gundam addict. i love gundam wing but i really dont like seed or seed destiny. i feel they tried to take gundam wing's storyline and change it a bit and call it something new.
anime seems juvenile to me, probs because i was forced to watch pokemon at my child minder's when i was a wee laddy.
but yeh, what else is on the agenda Moses? any other un gundam wing related wip's?
Actually in SEED Futuka tried to re-tell the UC storyline but in a more futuristic way. SEED Destiny was the same only it tried to represent Zeta Gundam.Quote:
