So the majority of us have someone to hate. If everyone who was wrong and ignorant and evil was killed off, then over time the world would forget what was so bad about them. I think its important that we have someone to look down on, so we know where the bottom is and how to keep ourselves above it.

Read context, I believe it is directed at the netherland embassy. But then I didn't read the whole deal all the way through, so I could be wrong.

To me, in most cases, it doesn't matter what denomination you are, but if you believe in the same thing then you are the same religion. This is outside of the cases. This is pure radicalism where they take the parts they like from the Bible and call anyone who doesn't agree a heretic. It's purely stupid, especially since they're hypocritical and downright idiotic.

We're veering into the danger zone, guys. I warned against this becoming a discussion entirely about religion, so... please try to keep this on-center. (Not saying we're totally off-center now, but I don't want this to become a shitstorm).

I'm really liking some of the ideas (especially the Jesus/Moses mask thing - I'm seriously considering that).

Regarding getting a large counter-protest : that already seems to be coming together. This is a month away and with the average attention span of teenagers I don't know how long it'll hold, but that seems taken care of.

Regarding music : more suggestions guys! The only thing I want to be careful of with this is "Disturbing the Peace" or whatever it's called when people play music really loud and it pisses neighbors off. My school is in a pretty dense residential zone, so I don't know what the limit (or if it'd be allowed at all) is...

It's False Teaching and they're blasphemying God by their doing what they're doing. They also try to Condemn people. Only God can Condemn people. They have no right to say if people are condemned to hell or not. It's so stupid and is an utter nono in the Christian faith. Apart from that, they're skinheads.

Lag, what you should do, is get a bible, shove it in their face with all of the highlighted passages that say God loves everyone. That's all you need to do. Or tell them their stuff is pure blasphemying of God and that they're just plain stupid.

Yeah, I like the Jesus/Moses makeout idea, and you should also play "what what" in the background on a boombox.

Lag, wont your school give you some sort of warning for doing any kind of protest? I dont know if you are allowed to protest on school property.... :o

I assume if they can get a protest permit we can too. That's actually the one thing that makes me thing they might not show up - there isn't much room to stage a protest at the school. There's a sidewalk across the street, but it's lined by houses and on the school's side of the street, the school's property extends so far that if they got off of it they wouldn't even be noticed.

You saw how there were only half-a-dozen protesters at the Chicago march (assuming that the photographer was a journalist, and the guy with the blond hair and the backpack was a student just walking by). They don't need that much space to march in. They are probably going to do something in the parking lot of your school, or somewhere else where they can be seen.

Just be careful (if you do counter-protest) that you don't miss them, otherwise staging a counter-protest will be a partial waste.
