Some how I don't think Halo's physics will allow for that. The bullet drop will work, but not the windage.

!Thats a very sexy, but let CAD Animate it, afterall, hes the best animator here...
He has other things to do. Lag is juat as good.
i am still wondering what the third silenced weapon is. sniper and smg variations are cool, but i cant think of anything else that wouldnt suck if it was silenced (the br was all i could think of)
if the wind did infact affect the bullet's position...that it would be almost impossible to use a sniper Rifle from across the map that was far away. You would have to aim up higher due to a sniper bullet's arc (IF the sniple Rifle had an actual bullet for a projectile..or/and they added weight to that bullet.) and aim ahead...That would be extreme . Especially if someone maid a map specifically for wind. Could make possibilities for Hurricane environment maps or something. Very exciting to think about. but very doubtful it's possible.
That would make most snipers no problem, but a good sniper terrifying. I would love a game using a bullet physics engine. Rather than doing a particular amount of damage on impact, the range, angle, wind speed and size would all play a part. (Not for halo, but for a tactical shooter like AA)
Bullets are effected by gravity in h1. Even in the stock maps.
Wait they are? Thats new. I mean there aren't even any noticeable effects. Then again we have a bullet traveling the good portion of a map in under a second so gravity wouldn't do shit.
I had no noticeable bullet drop at all in Halo 1. I can shoot someone in the head with a pistol from across the width (teleport exit to teleport exit) of Bloodgulch with no drop, when there would be a great deal in real life.
It's most noticeable in H1X MP. I always aim aboe someones head at long range, whenever I play H1X.
