was my favourite too.
E: and even if the topic died, yeah, forerunners and humans are one and the same.

F4 Phantom render is really good...almost looks like a painting, not a render. <3 the flying brick.
The termination dust just arrived today. It's really beautiful on the mountains surrounding our beautiful city.

Got a higher res pic? I can't really appreciate it at that scale.
Can't find much pics of termination dust in Anchorage on the net. I'll try taking a picture on my moms camera later.

Anybody know of a free picture hosting site that will allow pictures up to 8MB?

Hi Alwin,
Thanks, I am glad you like my work. Unfortunately, I cannot distribute larger resolution images. Ensemble was kind enough to let me post those images on my site and I don't want to do anything to mess that up!
I am bummed to miss out on your buddy club:)
all the best,
Dylan

Doesn't Ensemble, y'know, not exist anymore?
Send him an email, and ask him.
everyone should send emails like this, that way he'll do it.
This are srs forum
But in all seriousness, I only mean that while it's perfectly fine to email him once about it, it becomes disrespectful when an onslaught of emails comes in to which he must respond no. I've had people assault me with requests for me to send some of my assets. Trust me, it gets annoying very, very fast.
I really would love to have that forerunner as my wallpaper...
Its Beautiful... It's true...
That landmass down there is New Zealand.
That's a....relatively low orbit...
E: What Forerunner picture do you keep mentioning?
What the hell are they doing that close to earth?
Our beautiful home planet is the best picture.
http://www.blog.thesietch.org/wp-con...7/04/earth.jpg
Wow! Ya I like that picture even more. That is really beautiful.
Holy shit
I remember seeing that New Zealand one on Nasa's photo of the day last year :neckbeard:
http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/9...olcanoerup.jpg There's an animation of about 5 frames of this as the ISS moves - it's pretty neat.
It's amazing how beautiful earth is,
It's even more amazing that there's people in this world that fuck it up.
Holy damn.
This thread needs moar space pictures!
Moar.
I heard you wanted more space pics.
Space is the greatest thing ever :neckbeard:
space owns
thats why we went, we and space have so much in common.
We are beautiful, and we own.

QUESTIONS OR COMMENTS
Message: Hello,
Myself and a large number of interested internet-goers are interested in obtaining a wallpaper-sized version of a beautiful Ensemble Studios concept art, located for reference here:
http://www.dylancolestudio.com/sketc...oConcept3.html
We have contacted the artist, but he says he is not allowed to release a higher-resolution version unless given permission by Ensemble Studios, which owns the rights. However, Ensemble was disbanded last year, meaning Microsoft would theoretically hold the general rights. Is it possible for us to request such a public release through this channel? If not, where might we try next?
Much thanks,
Noah Bronstein (as well as assorted others)
Basically they told me that don't even want to think about it. Fine.Quote:

Booo.
Space is such an epic place.
this is Space thread nao~
I've always found the Buran to be a great metaphor for Russia at the time it was constructed.
The scale, the effort,
http://www.aerospaceguide.net/pics/buran_MIK.jpg
The brilliance, the perfectionism,
The ultimate, inevitable failure.
http://www.buran.ru/images/jpg/bbur90.jpg
It saddens me a little.
e: holy shit that image is bigger than I though, *shotted*.
Last picture made me sigh. :(
What's the story behind that?
Apparently the Buran was a semi-successful Soviet shuttle project which never went anywhere after the space program was scrapped in '93. The Buran was stored in a hanger until 2002, when the hanger collapsed, resulting in the destruction of the shuttle.
I'm tired of the space pictures...
Anyone got any futuristic ones without space?
Edit: nvm Im interetsted in space again:

Deleted. Don't post that shit in here again.
Higher res of >>467169 + more art of it
Fake E: goddomot, did I just do what I think I did? Shit that is not a good habit.
Real E: Waaaaait a second.... is it just me or are the third and fourth pics a different plane?
Damn that's one sexy plane.
No fire, just rubble. The roof collapsed from "disrepair", iirc.
I smell conspiracy. :tinfoil:
Sukhoi haven't released a single image of it, not even a quick scribble done on a napkin. The dude's just taking logical design features and making his own concept of what it might look like.
It's Russia, that makes perfect sense.
I've got some nice high res panoramics for ya.

If you've ever seen Chicago at night you know that it glows bright fucking orange and can be seen for 100 miles in every direction as an aura on the horizon.
not surprised, but that is cool

Was gonna put this in PFR, but then I realized it wasn't the least bit funny.
