That was the intent from the beginning of this new world. The 1.9 terrain generation engine just doesn't allow for continuing the current world. It's your choice to play until the update. All money you earn will be carried over to the new world. I'll also try to set up the current world as a secondary world on the server, so you can carry over stuff from your chests. Any significantly time consuming structures that are built above ground and built on flat ground will also be carried over.

Um, when you upload the pre-1.8 world so we can finish our stuff in it, will you be putting that stuff into the 1.9 world also?

The city should go in at least.

But the city is mostly copypasta stuff from other sources anyway. Why not make a new one?
