Not funny.
Not for any particular reason, it's just not funny.
You've never seen Sailor Moon? :o
When did I say that?
There is just nothing funny about "nigga moon". It isn't funny. It lacks any humorous connection or aspect. That's about it. It has the equivalent effect of saying "Guess what the milkman brought to my door this morning? Apple juice!" It. Is. Not. Funny.
So parody and stereotype aren't at all a part of the vast study of comedy? The joke is that there is a stereotype towards black American males, that they are thieves and thugs, presented with the rewriting of the Sailor Moon theme song lyrics, coupled with the supplementary visual aid of a large black man in a woman's costume, in itself a bizarre and perhaps humorous standalone piece. Whether or not you think it's funny, it's still basic comic chemistry, and guess what, it works. I don't laugh at it, but at least I know enough to understand that it is a solid joke.
Your Milkman analogy doesn't relate to it at all, by the way. Nothing against you, Exam, I just have a deep and profound respect for comedy, good or bad. This isn't solid gold, but it still has all the components of what people may find funny.
The words have absolutely no comedic value, whatsoever. Remove them and the picture could at least be called a success in terms of humor value. But the words added just cause me to go "...what?"
The words are a parody of the theme song to the American-dubbed Sailor Moon anime. They're meant to be read with the tune of the theme song in mind. With that, they line up adequately enough, and with that, the whole thing comes together.
I chuckled at the milkman bringing apple juice.
Crap I'm easily amused.
