You need better cooling- it can't be good for your computer to get so hot it glows red... :-3
Aren't servers fun?
I use my monitor as a hat holder.
Yay

Yay, staggered my two pc monitors and used synergy to link mouse and keyboard to laptop as well, works out really well as the eee's normal keyboard is tiny.
BTW, you bet your ass that is a Lego R2D2

Actually they suck xD They weren't suppose to be in the picture anyway they were just laying around [/buckshot]
Haha yeah xD
I wonder how you can even sleep with all that electronic stuff xD I have a worse sleep when I leave my PC on all night.
Also, seems like we both are softies having those furs xD
Heh, I turn EVERYTHING off when i go to bed.

haha, that's awesome! My mom would love a computer that looks like that. Hell, I'd love a computer that looks like that. Good find.
Wow, that computer is very...un-computeristic. I wish I had one like that, just because it looks so cool.
Looks weird... Not really my style, I don't like it >.>...
I could actually make something like that :P
we do a little bit of glass work at the joinery. Chances are i'd be too lazy tho :/
I dunno, Im used to the traditional metal gray, black, and white colour scheme, maybe some blue on it. Anything else seems weird to me :|
That's The Legend of Z..rigs.
Due to no digi cam ATM, I post this. I now have a sweet built rig :P

Gross you got it pre-built.
I need a new case and Keyboard :[
56k BEWARE
I didnt get a pre-built. Look up ^^^^ thats prebuilt. I had it built from parts that i choose. I built the system in my head, gave them parts list, actually called back and had it redone twice. Almost put in a 3rd 8800 but heard 9 series was already coming out. I dont care though. I wasnt totally qualified to do it and recieved a 3 year no question warranty and about $1000.00 worth of extras (5.1 surround sound, new hp all-in-one printer,100gig sata drive, alll cables needed and then some including sata cables and hdri adapters, etc) that I wasnt going to get making it myself. I think i did pretty good for $1570.00 after a few rebates.
you have to have the same exact same Gfx card..
same model, different brand is ok
Yes, but you can't have three 8800 GTS's in SLI together.
I heard that you could crossfire 4 8800GT's with a single AGP slot, though. :v:
I laugh at your ram.
^
Yeah, that must be so completely impossible because idg why each gfx card has 2 SLI connectors at the top. :P
My 8800GTX's have two SLI connectors, you cannot use three way SLI. Besides that, his card(s) don't even have two connectors.
http://c1.neweggimages.com/NeweggIma...130-327-06.jpg
These are what are used for 3 way SLI.
http://www.pcper.com/images/reviews/495/bridge1.jpg
Once again, you cannot put 8800GTS's in 3 way SLI.
you can have up to 3 8800GTX's at once..(at least that as many as i've seen) you can probably have more..;)
You can only have 3 88GTX/Ultras/98GTX and only 2 88GT/GTS/98GX2.
What the fuck. Nobody told me this.
now we are ;)
Yah and why did you -rep me [FBI]Xetsuei™ ? Over my computer setup? Thats laim dude. Flaming rep, how nice......
Flaming rep? I didn't leave a comment. :|
Now why would you have needed to run that image through Photoshop just for blurring?
Hur, nobody cares. Please stop -repping me because you were mad you were wrong. And please don't encourage others to abuse the rep system.

but seriously, my new laptop is in the mail.
I did? Show me. Please use your brain before posting.
Aehm, because I respect other people and I don't need to show especially you who positively reps me?
I think that falls under the category "flaming rep". So don't talk to me about "abusing the reputation system" or don't cry about the fact that I minus rep you equally in return.Quote:
@Paladin
I hope that thing never got into mass production >.<
I really didnt think that this computer was a shitty setup.
It was not expensive and i got a lot of perks.

Somehow that water cooling doesn't seem that efficient to me :P
needs moar shot tag :|
1. You should really stop flaming.
2. You could of done what I did, which was much simpler.
3. I wasn't even talking to you, that response was obviously meant for Matooba, seeing his quote was above my text.
4. You were being stupid and ignorant. You flamed me when you were wrong, gg. You minus'd me equally in return? No. You were being a crybaby because you were wrong.
Please stop derailing the thread.
Xet stop posting.
Matooba, use the [shot] tag on big images next time please. Also, the fan on the rad is dirty please clean it. :awesome:
Sorry, was wondering about how to do that. Thanks for the info and edit. Also, is there a list here someplace for posting bbcode or anything else.
please stop rep-crying in my thread, everyone.
USB Hub/Speaker base?
honestly, how do you keep your workspace so clean?
Any more off topicness in this thread will result in a ban.
Yeah. Disadvantage of a docking station is only 2 USB ports, so I have to have a hub with all my stuff. Plus the speakers on this laptop are shit, so it works really well. As for keeping it clean, I've always been a bit of a neat freak, so keeping it clean is a must. It's where I work, so being clean is a bit of a necessarily.
http://img516.imageshack.us/img516/825/dsc02801as9.jpg
You can have a look at my System specs ^^^
Oh yeah, I like to keep my workspace relatively clean.
Ignore the shit quality, phone pic.
even though its messy... i like it.
E: i cant wait to get my comp back for the summer, its gonna be epicness
I got a new desk upgrade for my birthday :D
Old desk:
Yes ladies and gentlemen, that is a piece of plywood clamped on the small useless keyboard tray, and yes that is what I have been using to play games. ;_;
New desk upgrade:
My mini monster:
Next upgrade will be a more efficient case, or a mouse.
My sound center control panel:
I don't care if it's from 1998, it still works like a fucking new one.
My work area:
Monitor cracked at the top because of my sister :(
Since i dared not to take a picture of my old work station at use, imagine a keyboard and a mouse in the ply wood, my monitor on the glass part, the headphones, wires, papers, glasses of water, and a bunch of other shit on there. The glass was not cleaned for about a year, so dust, and water marks where staining the glass horribly.
Edit: FUCK YOU PHOTOBUCKET RESIZING MY IMAGES, brb going to imageshack...
nice monitor.
You rearranged all the keys?
...wow. free time much?
Took me five minutes to rearrange the keys on my keyboard, actually. Pretty simple task. I'm still not very used to Dvorak and have been typing in QWERTY for the most part. I really only changed my keyboard because I can flawlessly touch type in QWERTY, so I don't need a QWERTY keyboard in front of me. Thought I'd learn Dvorak over the summer, see if I can't get my typing speed up to where it is with QWERTY, maybe faster.
Look, my new rig:
http://img.hexus.net/v2/news/acer/ac...e-predator.jpg
Nah j/k. Go to http://www.acer.com/predator/
I have to say, that is one butt-ugly machine right there.
I on the other hand, love that design and want the case.
Do they sell the case by itself? Preferably not in orange?
Heh.. "send me the leftovers!"
You may see a few on Ebay
I can't wait till I get my new monitor on Wednesday, just order a 22" Acer P223Wwd. Its got some nice specs. I'll post a pic when I get it, snagged it for $199 off Newegg.
not the best steampunk mod I've seen, but still pretty sweet.
Of course we've all seen this one:

Same designer, FYI. Also :awesome:

Nice setup you got there, but why XP instead of Vista?
vista gives higher performance on games and is alot more stable....
When I got 7 FPS on crysis on maximum in vista, I got 17fps with the same settings in xp.
Vista has many bugs. I have it as a dual boot.
Dual boot? Isn't that the same as. oh crap. it's on the tip of my toungue
yeah-no. What he said^^
you would need at least a 700watt.
