I'm most likely getting a 60-70$ keyboard and mouse adapter for my 360 to play. I have some dell with a mobo that locks up pretty much everything and anything, and my parents aren't to crazy for trying to mess around with the nicest pc we have atm.

That makes no sense. USB should work better. :raise:
Also don't trust reviews. I watched a video of a guy playing halo 3 with a XCM and he moved the mouse really slow when he looked around which (i guess) he did so you couldn't see the maximum sensitivity of the mouse.
Playing with a maximum sensitivity would fuck me up so bad on M&KB because I twitch look and twitch aim like crazy.
Well, for some reason P2 does, especially since USB, for some reason, does not have custom key mapping enabled and if using usb you need a wireless controller plugged in, then switch to that. Good thing my dad keeps his old pc's from 2002 around so I have stuff.
As for a low sensitivity, even if it is bad, which i doubt, ANYTHING is better than a damn controller. I'm god awful at aiming with it, and so are the people I've played XBL live with.
Get an XIM, a bit more expensive, but so much faster.
Imho, if I where to get an adapter, I would get the XIM, its just that much better.
One thing that made me laugh and just shake my fucking head was the level were you play undercover and shoot up a fucking airport. That's all you're doing. Shoot 'em up.
This may work well and all for mindless fuck 12 year olds (whose parents are suppose to buy the game for them, but will ultimately blame developers for their too mindless acts if the child fucks up), but in order for me to actually justify wanting to progress further is having an actual goal I'm trying to accomplish. If I wanted to just shot shit I would fire up Firefight. At least then I get some variety with it as well.
Also, if any reviewer tries to claim that level as controversy then look up their GTA or Saints Row review. You've been able to kill innocent bystanders for years now, there's nothing new about it in games and it is a completely mindless action in this one. Really though, you could go the whole mission by just shooting the airport security only. There really is nothing special about shooting up "civilian" NPCs.
Seeing as how MW2 "uses licensed technology from id Software"
id's Rage unlikely to use dedicated servers.
I think it's pretty clear that the "brains" of the outfit for IW are not really brains at all. Rather, they're complacent fucks with no concern over what drives a good story or how to translate a story into a game for that matter. Now it seems to be apparent that they chose to license their tech rather than develop it themselves. If you're going to make a game, at least make sure the tech/engine you're using can support your ideas and goals (assuming you set goals). I bet id gave them a discount so they can be the ones to break the lack of dedi support news.
I'll admit though, the game artists did a pretty damn good job (though, overall, it doesn't seem any more advance than Halo 3's engine). At least they held up their end of the game-developing-process.
