Either go with a RD sight, or a laser module. Scope looks tacky as hell, and makes zero sense.
Don't care if it's a game set in the future. If you look at all of the human weapons Bungie put into the game, they all have elements on them that make sense; nothing out of place or wierd. As much as CMT strives to put their own twist on things, there are still boundaries between cool and dumb.
Well it's mainly the proportions of the barrel to the SMG, the barrel matching the groves, and the fact that you're putting a barrel on the SMG. Those three things just make the barrel clash with the rest of the gun and its design.Quote:

Those are things off the top of my head that they obviously took the route of making things look cool and be practice above realism.
Hell H3R has the laser sight, and it makes 0 sense for that seeing as it has iron sights built into the gun.
red dot sights are easier to use in an instant
hence why people mount them on weapons with iron sights in the first place

An OSDT's helmet does more than just conceal one's identity or hinder head shots. IIRC, in Cole Protocol OSDTs have HUDs of their own (which I'm sure Recon will backup), so why would they need a red dot sight on a weapon when they have a system that works just like a spartan's HUD? The ODST's are a strike force. They don't defend (except when their backing up already established ground defences).
They attack one place, then move on to the next. They may have kept the place clear while the grunts set it up, but after thatn it would be up to the normal marines. The marines don't have HUD's.
If the marine's died after they left, then it would make sense for there to be a mix of weapons there.
But really, who gives a fuck. Lasers are cool.
