I feel that. I'm in the exact same situation, nix the whale and murder but with minor transformations into captain Ahab.

Thing is, I'm not angry at the guy she's with - I'm just disappointed I didn't get to her sooner, she's been at my school since my sophomore year, and I only just started talking to her this year.
