Yeah I got exception with Skys the Limit which I always boot up for CE :(

pretty easy to make a list of ones that work :|

Just uncomment the build modifier code in OS and use it with 1.08. (You might need to change the build slightly to exactly match CE.)

The problem with that is that apparently 1.08 clients can't connect to 1.09 servers?

You mean if you try to direct connect? Then no shit. If the builds don't match exactly, the server will reject the client.

If you mean you tried version changer with the exact, matching build, then I'm stumped.
