No, don't even try to defend what he did. Running code from a server that replaces the executable with something totally different is not an "update". He did not replace the executable with a newer version, he wrote a brand new executable in it's place that could have ran anything without the user's knowledge. A backdoor like that can be used to run any kind of code, including malicious code, and with his past record of getting mad at the community I would not put it past him to do something like this again.Quote:

Hey guys, I just wanted to let you know I was doing this launcher BS back in 06, it's nothing new. However, Prom, was fucking extraordinary imo.
