A few quick questions
- Where does the passage in picture 11 lead to/from? Sea level? The warthog trap? (to the sides of the drop right outside of the garage) Somewhere else?
- The interior of the lower mongoose structure - what is in there? I saw the leaked WIP version, and it looked like a control panel of some sorts under the glass...
- I dont know how it would work, but I agree with whoever said it that it would be interesting to put an artillery of some sorts on the small island at the beach - maybe a wraith turret!

in pic 11 this is just the ramp you take after falling in the sea and going up again to join the main track again... same as v1 but you 'll join the main track a little farer.. hard to explain.. I hope you get it.
ye in the beach base, there's an interuptor that comands the door placed between the to big hills (where the beach starts) and that shut the passage of the track for hogs..
Given the fact that there's already a turret on the beach base, I prefer to have some place to hide in the middle of the little island.. like 3 big stones with a space in the middle..

After this, will you be working on a new, original map, or a yoyorast island 3 for Halo 2? I'd just like to have something truly new but as intricate as yoyorast 1 to run around in, instead of the same thing over and over

#1 - I thought so, and I understand fully - The last two pictures really helped clarify some stuff about the passage destinations. Do you have any different angles of those kind of shots? Those would be SO AWESOME to see. Also, in the beta, the sea ramps led to a point ABOVE the first ramp - is that still there?
#2 - I thought the rim around the pathway on the beta version was important, and the fact that you can see through the glass to that area makes a lot of sense now.
#3 - So THATS why that small island looked so empty! Zanzibar style rocks would work very nicely there. If it is possible to use them, maybe you could put some Rocket/Pistol/Rifle/Shotgun ammo there, rather than weapons. It seems too distant from the mainland to have a small bunker - It would have to have been a sprawling tower of some sorts to not seem out of place with the rest of the map. On another note, will there be any other small rocks and vegitation around the map? The first version had character and some simplicity, but with the massiveness of this version, I think some little "landmark" objects would help out.
I also highly agree with FriedMetroid - maybe you could make a Yoyorast Canyon or Yoyorast City!
I cant wait for version 2's release!

I'm thoughrouly stunned at how much work you put into this! I really like this new model, plus the additions of passages and random exits from the track are a great touch. The one track that leads up to the sniper tower at the very top of the map looks kina, ummm, wobbley, as if it were... nevermind. Basically, it kinda looks too thin. Maybe if yuo thickened it or put another column underneath it to make it look supported? Other than that, I love it!

i posted this in the halomaps.org forums on the topic of the trans-hog and there hasn't been and update.. so i'm posting it here since i'm guessing yoyo comes past more often.

seats like that are fine on a tank, because it's slow as horse feces, but on a hog, i think that people would be pretty likely (in real life) to fall off (especially on some of the crazy jumps on the map). for that reason, i think there needs to be a seat their for them to be abit less exposed in. not like s big seat on the side of the hog, but build the seats into the side of it.
but then again, look at the turret.. but that still has something to grab the top of your body onto...

Hi Guys, no big news yet unfortunatly... Since my last update I didn't got much time to make progress ... Life things (I think I'll have more time soon)... I just took the time to make some changes on the roof's bases area cause I wasn't happy with the design there. I guess and hope its nor styled now.. Also changes the gameplay : Now (when riding hog) you'll have to jump from the last ramp onto the roof's base where the 2 teleporters are placed now... this results in : no more passing flag, no more accesible for bipeds and a fun little last jump before you can get the flag.
