An old shot I came across when bored. I decided to experiment with duotones.
Too blurry imo.
I've always loved the distinct details on flames, but this one seems kind of.. blurry?
Well, as the temple was dark and somewhat drafty, even a shutter speed of 1/160 was not enough to freeze the movement of the flame. Also, shooting at such a large aperture (f/1.8) bright objects tend to have a kind of halo glow effect.
I like the blur of the flames tbh. It creates a definite contrast between the amount of detail visible on the candle + it's wick and the flame its self
Is there a tut on editing videos to make them look 'sharper'?
