It's really nice to come back after a few days to find almost ALL of my farm animals have somehow escaped from the two fences I have set up.... Also if anyone is interested I'm working on an old west style "Tavern" in the desert in the western area of the map. I'll be selling potions as my "brew"

username same as here. given creative mode or some method of spawning shit for myself i tend to build compulsively and am more than capable of throwing down villages, warships, cold war missile silos and what have you all the fuck over. not given that i am slower, but tend to achieve the same end. probably not as fast as when i first got into minecraft, though; that shit was insane.

The server is still on 1.1 for the time being. I guess jcap doesn't want to update it yet, probably because Bukkit doesn't have a recommended build for 1.2 yet.
The server has been updated to 1.2.3. Some plugins have been deactivated for now because they have not been updated and are not compatible. This includes: Showcase, Stats, Achievements, and a few other small ones.
Everything else that is running seems to be working properly. If you come across any bugs or problems, please report them in this thread.
As for jungles: not sure yet. Probably will do one of two things: push the border back and generate new land, or add an additional "jungle only world" that you can travel to by way of a public portal.
Could you whitelist a friend of mine? He's one of the guys I've been building with for quite some time, he's pretty incredible at building houses and castles especially and is not one to fuck around. His username is Nirrti.
(On another friend's old server, we built a fortress-city across a few mountain peaks and most of the buildings in it, a drawbridge that Indiana Jones would be impressed by to protect it, a giant levitating castle connected to it, several large mansions and buildings set into cliff faces, a factory, and a dam. I'll have to annoy Ansith to upload the backup from before he took the server down, it was incredible)
