The problem is that the actor's voice wasn't capable of going that low. If he were capable, it probably would have been less of an annoyance.

That was just the way he made his voice sound to keep his identity hidden, the annoying airy sound was intended.

Well, one of the trailer before the movie started showed that Bale will play John Connor in Terminator: Salvation, due in 2009, and it'll be set entirely in the future this time. (end off topic).

Btw, the Batmobile was kickass, especially when it turned itself into the Batpod after suffering "catastrophic" damage, similar to how the Batmobile turned itself into a small rocket in Batman Returns to fit through a narrow alley. I want a car like that.

Yea I remember that Buckshot. Hopefully the new Terminator is good. After all, it's been awhile since a Terminator movie has hit the theaters.

Heath Ledger gave one of the best performances I have ever seen in a film.

Batman is an alter-ego of Bruce Wayne, of course his voice is going to sound different.
