Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
It does seem like Bad Company 2, graphics did look really good, from what you can see from the stupidly fast clips...
If they don't add any new features such as a bit more interactivity with the environment - which in my opinion should be something they develop in games now, everything else ahs been done and is getting old - then I am going to rape them.
All they seem to do most of the time is make a new campaign and stick some new weapons in it :/ They need to do something good with the engine and add new features. I actually think they should make it a bit like Bad Company, so add vehicles, as long as they are not over powered... And DESTRUCTIBLE ENVIRONMENT!!!
Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
Treyarch did add tanks in cod waw, so I would think they would add some type of vehicle in black ops.
Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
Wait, the same people who made WaW are making this one?
Its going to fail... massivly, again.

Though
Call of Duty: Black Ops' Cold War setting is a new feature for the series, one element of the game will stay true to the franchise's norms: the game's campaign will only be a single-player experience.
Speaking to MTV, Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia explained, "single-player is the epic, cinematic, seat-of-your-pants thrill ride that you star in," while the game's cooperative offerings will be packaged in completely separate "unique co-op modes."
Sounds fairly reminiscent of
Modern Warfare 2's Spec Ops missions, though Lamia quickly clarified that
Black Ops' co-op mode will be "different" from that of the last game in the series. Could we possibly see
more zombies added to the mix? Hopefully, we'll find out more when we check out the game at E3.
And treyarch did do co-op before for waw but not this time, meh. And zombies? Again the only reason why people will buy CoD:BO is for zombies and they will talk non-stop about it, I know it, just like WaW.

No, I wasn't, but I just want to point out all the same shit anyway and hope more people notice and stop buying this same shit over and over.
Because I've already bought it 3 times, fuck me.
*Edit: Also, lol at the ballistic knife. He shot it off, then stabbed a guy before putting in another knife (but the model showed a knife being in it).
Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
truthfully, I won't be playing this or reach ( no Xbox but I probably wouldnt get it anyway not that i don't like Halo, I just think its megaly over hyped) I will be playing New vegas and probably Lost planet 2 pc if it releases in september ( I think it was september?) and some random Indie games.
CoD has been hyped to the point where it should only appeal to elementary school kids. With its basic story to its fuck all assisted shooting. I normally would abck up treyarch and say that WaW wasnt a huge mess but after seeing the multiplayer and gameplay I just shook my head in dissapointment.
