I haven't even read Cryptum so I don't see why I would buy the sequel.
The first book was kind of enjoyable as a stand-alone story. Just pretend it has nothing to do with Halo. Your brain will hemorrhage if you think for too long about the Flood's origins as an ancient human society pet cosmetic.
Yeah, that was a load of shit. I haven't read it (my local stores lack it, kind of funny IMO) and probably won't, but I've read nearly every synopsis about it.Quote:

I just finished reading it for the second time and i found it more enjoyable to read. The only real problem I had was the gaps of 10 or so pages where nothing happened or it was just Bear describing something and i had forgotten what the hell was going on in the first place. Oh and that everything seem to just happened at the end of the book.Quote:
