Re: [GALLERY] Chains' Scribbles
So I have taken a break from digital painting to brush up on my actual painting. Unfortunately until I get my hands on one of the school cameras, I have to take pictures of this thing with my webcam, which really fucks up the values making my light grays into whites and my dark grays into blacks. So you will just have to bear with me until then.
Anyways since my highschool is poor I am using acrylics to create a black and white piece then using the tiny bit of oils I have as a color glaze. Hopefully whatever college I attend will let me have access to full oils.
8x12 canvas, acrylic, 2 hours of work so far, no ref.

I actually really like it, though it seems like it could almost use a little more mood. Would love to see an update with a splash of color.

Well my teacher decided to mention to me today out of nowhere that i need another acrylic of same standard as above done by Thursday.
Challenge accepted, about an hour and half of work so far.

Added on the oil layer to give it color, I can't get a really decent picture because it is still wet and the light from the webcam makes a big reflection.

I really like it! I hope you put some colour on your other painting as well. Great stuff!
Re: [GALLERY] Chains' Scribbles
Working on this painting, nothing is final yet and the only thing even remotely close to being done is the face.
These pictures are a bit out of date, the forearm has been lengthened as I found it too short, I evened out the earlobes because one was too long, fixed the skull from looking a bit crooked and evened out the nostrils.
Black and white acrylic paint, about 4 hours of work so far.
