I would have liked loadouts better if they focused less on stupid armor abilities like jetpack, and more on giving players a variety of weapons to start with. It would be nice to see some regular Shotgun on Shotgun combat for the first time since Halo 1.

I thought this happened a lot in Reach. Maybe because I wasn't playing Arena games that usually this happened on a regular basis.
I still stand to say that Reach's best gametype has to be Invasion.
Re: Halo 4, still isn't on the Wii-U
Well rumours have it that the jetpack is more of a jump pack this time around, giving the player the ability to perform a double jump rather than fly around.

Hmm, I think that'd actually be a pretty cool feature.
Re: Halo 4, still isn't on the Wii-U
So it'll behave like how the enemies use their jetpacks? (like the Brute's near the end of Crow's Nest in Halo 3 or the Elites that show up after that one jammer in New Alexandria)
Because that would be awesome. And a whole lot better than the stupid shit it is now.

I remember how in the Beta the Jetpack actually required skill to use. I'm not sure what changed. Maybe the amount of flying time was increased. Either way, I hope the Jetpack is more of like the rumors say simply because Jetpackers tend to die a LOT faster, which kind of cruds up gameplay more than helps it.
Re: Halo 4, still isn't on the Wii-U
The problem with the jetpack is that being suddenly attacked from above in a console FPS simply isn't very fun. Controllers aren't good at vertical gameplay. If the game was on PC, my opinion might be different.

It is fun to take them down with the Pistol even when they got the jump though.lol.
Re: Halo 4, still isn't on the Wii-U
It is, but to be fair that's only because most of them are idiots that just spray you with the Assault Rifle. If they got the drop on you with the Pistol and actually had good aim, you'd be dead before you could do anything.
