Re: (Official Thread) Post your PC pics
Nice rig Legionaire, but it's a great example of why I like air cooling > water clooling. I'm to fucking lazy to flush and replenish the system, it's just extra work.
However, my next rig that I build (wont' be until a new big advance in processing technology and graphics technology) will most likely be water cooled, or totally submerged in something like the Reactor.

Lol, I just went in and cleaned out two years of dust. An inch thick layer of dust.
Idle Temp is now at 22 since it is colder than usual.
As soon as I can get my hands on a decent fan controller, I'm going to drop two of my 120 CFM monsters onto the radiator .

Mobo was cheap, and case is upgradeable.
Not saying that I would want to keep this case. I wanted to upgrade to a 900, but everybody has that so I might get the cosmos S or whatever if I ever upgrade it.
I painted the inside of my case black so it looks way less noticeable of the micro atx board in an atx case, those pics were really outdated.

CM 690's rock. And there's less of them around than the 900's.

That's a fact. Now unless motherboard form factor names are seriously screwed, I'm inclined to think you're incorrect.
E: My god, he's correct. The world's gone crazy.
E2: Apparently they've actually got the same area, just MiniATX is a rectangle and MicroATX is a square :|
It's actually because of a difference between the ITX and ATX standards. ATX is just plain bigger, *-ITX was designed for smaller applications, so even if the prefix normally represents a larger unit, it's still probably smaller.
Also, I keep a Mini-ITX in my desk, so I always have a point of reference.
I've never posted pics of the insides of my beige boxes... I should do that when I get home (my desktop that hides behind a pair of filing filing cabinets actually has blue LEDs in the PSU, and my server's PSU cables glow...)

Props to the high quality pic, Timo. Screwed me up a bit when I saw through that open slot at the back though; at first that carpet looked like more motherboard to me with those wires on it.
How's that X2 6000+ work for you? I'm thinking of getting one.
