No new Half life in 2010

I was looking forward to EP3 news On E3 :smith:

Well, Valve has a history of saying nothing, then producing something thats freaking amazing out of the blue. So ya never know :D

Yes, it was a fun game.
No, you do not need to make a Left4Dead 3.

Let's see here, it takes them FUCKING FOREVER to make something new for Half-Life, and it took them a DECADE to make TF2, and then L4D2 comes out almost right after L4D1 came out.
Why, Valve, why? Focus your energies on your games which have a MUCH bigger fanbase than L4D.
TF2 is considered one of the best class-based shooters of all time (admittedly, this isn't such a big deal because of all the extra goodies Valve has been giving us over the years).
HL2 (and HL1) are considered one of the best games of all time.
L4D is not.
Get your priorities straight.
