edit: looks like it took enough friction too cause some sparks. i don't think it's unreasonable that the thing was pretty small and just arcing as it was plowing through those clowds.

You don't even know how hard this made me laugh on the inside. We just learned about this in history. Oh deceptive gov't attempts at teaching the nation.

I dunno, I think you'd probably see a pretty good increase of survivors around the perimeter of the nuclear blast. So there's a little merit to the commercials. LOL nukes.
