So what's everyone doing nowadays?
I'm curious to see what people ended up doing a decade after all of what was modacity.
Personally i ended up staying in touch with a few people from here, some less out of my own choice than others.
what's everyone been up to and accomplished in the meantime?
bonus points for not being a flthy NEET

Work in bottleshop, talk booze all day long, come home and relax by watching esports. Specifically Starcraft 2.

Not much related to what I used to do here, although I did join a new game which I'm still sort of having doubts about, "Star Citizen" its a crowd funded MMO... having second thoughts about doing the "pre order pledge" I get access to the alpha versions they released.. I mean its a cool concept, and if they pull it off how I'm hoping; then I'll probably play it a lot... but right now its kind of jus average...
I'm attracted to it because it has an FPS element mainly; don't get me wrong I love flying space craft, but im not very good at it; I'm better off using a gunner seat. MMO FPS games on the other hand I love... and since the game is still in development I can give some input if I ever get around to making some concepts, I'm scarcely working on some sketches; might try getting into making 3d models again and make some of these ideas into models if I like em enough...
Other than that I barely do any of the stuff I used to do related to Halo CE... most of my work was all un-released, and the one project I was working on before I left was lost due to a hard drive failure... sorta put me off because it was the most complete I ever came to making a full BSP for the game... that and the folks I used to correspond with were basically gone anyway.
TL;DR
I don't do much related to what I used to do here 3d modeling and stuff.. but I'm thinking about giving it another go for a new game called Star Citizen; mostly just concept work if anything very doubtful that they'd actually use my stuff but w/e i sorta miss modeling anyway; be a good place to start again.
E: Although.... I was considering looking into that Unreal Engine... anyone making anything for that yet? I've yet to download any of it or do anything with it, been procrastinating it...

Star citizen? Isn't that the game where it's renowned as a ponzi scheme where people have poured millions of dollars into with no return on investment because of feature creep?
Jesus buddy, take your money and run

eh its had mixed accusations that they took way to long based on the money they earned.. and its not like I can get a refund and it doesn't have a subscription to play.
Other than that it should be out next year... so far I've been playing the "alpha modules" and it seems like it could be pretty legit if they pull it off right...
in hindsight though; what I have access to prob isn't worth 45 bucks, but then again its only in alpha and with the 45 bucks i spent I get a preorder so I don't have to pay for the game when its released and I bet its going to be more than 45 dolars when it comes out... then again 'm a sucker for MMO Flight and FPS games.. and they combined the two... I'd imagine it should be pretty fuken epic when they finish it if they do pull it off.
