Syncing AI online in the H2V engine
I've known that AI couldn't sync online in the first Halo engine, and so far it doesn't seem to have any success in the Halo 2 engine. No AI online = no co-op online.
But then I started playing Halo 2 again and I noticed that a few things that couldn't sync in the 1st Halo (switches and the bottom-right score meters and the train in Terminal) managed to sync here. So...AI mb?
As the editing kit gradually becomes unlocked, I've been contemplating. Would there really be a way to get AI to sync online in Halo 2? If so, that would unlock the possibility of cooperative maps, though a safer start would be to have maps with bots first.
I'm not a programmer, so I don't know anything about the coding in either version of the Blam engine, but I do know that the second-generation Blam engine is more advanced, so I'm just wondering.
Re: Syncing AI online in the H2V engine
Assuming major things didn't change in Halo 2 Xbox, syncing AI could be possible in H2V because there have been some maps with AI in it. And I think there was an Outskirts multiplayer.

Actually, you can play the entire Halo 2 Xbox campaign online over system link with any tunneling program. They've managed to actually ENTIRE campaign maps, scripts and all. (BTW these are the actual maps themselves, not converted BSPs) Links:

Oh the entire campaign now?
That's cool...now WHAT ABOUT H2V?! =/
Re: Syncing AI online in the H2V engine
Er... I'm not sure, you'd think that if it worked for the Xbox version, it'd work for the PC version.
Edit: The guy who discovered how to do this, just swapped a few reflexives, do you think that would be possible for H2V?

Go back to Halomaps (or wherever you came from; I don't even want to know tbqh) and learn what "syncing" in real terms means. ;)

Wasn't that big rotating thing on Zanzibar for CE synced in some crazy laggy way?
