I'm still very angry at steam for invalidating my CD key for Orange Box. Apparently it's god sin that I lost my old account and tried to install it on a new account 3 months later.
THIS KEY IS ALREADY IN USE YOU DIPSHIT YOU CAN'T USE AGAIN THAT WOULD BE HORRIBLE WAAAAAAAAAAAH GO FUCK YOURSELF!!!!
Stupid, this is the only game I've ever seen that won't let me re-use a CD key. Even bioshock let me use it 3 or 4 times. If I buy a physical copy of the game at a store I should not have to install or use Steam. I should have a choice between a standard game install or a steam install. Seriously.

You registered the OJ box CD key to your account, you can't just go register it to another one. That would undermine the whole point of Steam's DRM :|Quote:

The reason that I didn't recover the account normally is because inbox.com deletes email addresses that you don't log in to often and that was my spam account sooo.... You can guess what happened.
But to be honest all this new DRM shit is just getting in the way of being able to play the game. Its not like steam is stopping Piracy. Keygens cracked serial keys and Crack Steam cracked Steam and I'm 100% sure whatever comes next will be cracked also. So why bother with DRM to begin with? People will find a way to pirate a game if they have the will to do so. So making it harder for people who actually bought the damn thing is just hurting you and your customers. Like me.
Anyone understanding what I'm saying here? I don't know if I explained this right.

Sent them a report with my cd key and picture attached. Hope they get back to me soon Ive been wanting to replay portal lately.

Got it back today. I was emulating Ace Combat 4 on PCSX2 and I go to check my mail and looky there! A letter from valve with my account information :)
