The 9th picture looks amazing IMO.
oh. sweet. jesus. This should be a published game.
Keep postin'. :o
This is some hot shit.
Oh thank god those terrain are placeholders, I always though there were looking a little.....flat.
kk, send me a version so that I can test it on my tank of a PC.
Looks like I have to get Crysis now. >___>
Damn fine art work going on here. Definitely will keep an eye on this.
great work so far :)
Yeah mech... I will hafta say your mod is looking pretty good.
I never flamed you or your mod team.
I'm still waiting for my pre-release build of this mod...
Heh, you're not getting it.
Alot of stuff has changed since these screenshots. IE HUD
huge pics below
mech where is my beta
Wanna run this in triplehead so badly
THE ENEMY HAS CAPTURED PROTOTYPE FACTORY
Wow, that looks amazing- I just hope something's going to be done about the material on the mechs- it looks dull and washed out.
There are no materials on them :tinfoil:
Just wait until they release something sir!
are you guys gonna get rid of the original hud elements and have it all custom?
No, why would we do that?
Wait yes.
oLOL beachROCKSPAM.
Other than that, great lookin stuff, looks fun and pretty.
In all seriousness Mech, I'm willing to help out with any/all beta tests that I'm around for. I'm signed up on the MW:LL forums as of today, but I've been lurking for awhile. Are there any chances that oldfags like me from the CE community can have a spot on the testing team when the beta rolls out? Also, this is ONLY going to be for Crysis right? Not Crysis: Warhead?
I can't figure out who you are on the MW:LL forums either.
This will be for both Crysis and Crysis Wars, we will more than likely be supporting the Crysis Wars version though.
Enjoy the screenshots, take note they're still WIP alot has changed since these shots were taken also.
noice missles
what's getting done with the HUD?
PPC and Heavy Gauss particle effects
Fucking beautiful.
Three more panoramic shots.
Some guy on the forum did a nice desktop background

Ask him if he runs SoftTH
Quote:
Yes, I should say I did at first, and it did work on some games but was too unreliable. I am running on TripleHead2go digital now. I switched over because I wanted reliable gameplay on MWLL and I will never go back. Love having all that desktop space to open different apps, and the gaming is over the top.
TH2G on different sized screens? Argh!
Hell yes look at those fukken mechs
Is this on warhead or just normal?
Watin' for my beta.
Lookit that Awesome and Owens
Going for the stylised look are we?
Why do I see a Separatist starship in some of those pictures?
I see some Union-C going on in pics.
Looks epic. Is it going to preform the same as warhead in terms of FPS, or be more laggy?
That tank just screams Supreme Commander.
No offense of course. Your tanks look beautiful. So do your mechs.
That's cool.
cool stuff
My new 1000Watt Modular PSU is screaming at you to let me play this NOW.
(Because we all know that PSU power increases your system performance!)
Hey guess who isn't getting a beta
~it's you~
Welcome to the eighth overall and fourth weekly update for May of 2009, presented by the team of the Crysis total conversion modification MECHWARRIOR: LIVING LEGENDS.
Another week has passed and still the pace is high. In today's update we're bringing to you a 3D panorama view showing the interior of the Mech hangar and some more delicious playtest screenshots. If you liked the sound of this, you'll love what else we have: we've got confirmed beta content. No, it's not a release date, but it's a signal to you that release is not far out anymore. Last but not least, we've got awesome news from Crytek, too. Enjoy this update!
Experience The New Mech Hangar
In our Weekly Update V, the first in May, we presented to you the new Mech hangar. Today, we've got something very special: a 3D panorama experience of the construction bay level of the hangar. Download the file below and simply follow the instructions given in the included Readme.txt file.

Confirmed Beta Content: Solaris Arena Maps
Yes, we're finally getting close and while we are not yet ready to announce a release date, we're able to confirm certain content that will be available in the first official relase of MechWarrior: Living Legends. While we originally expected to have two, maybe three maps for the Solaris Arena game mode, we're now happy to announce that no less than five maps will be released straight away. These five maps can be seen on the screenshots below. If you're missing your favorite map here, don't despair: these maps are the ones closest to being done, but that doesn't mean the other maps will never see the light of day.

MWLL Presents: Crytek's Newest Employee
If you've just had a deja vu, rest assured: no, we're not short on news and recycling old announcements. The team of MechWarrior: Living Legends is indeed proud to again present to you Crytek's newest employee. While it hardly comes as a surprise to see another talented developer being offered a job opportunity in the games industry, the team is still proud to see another one from its ranks take the next step. While, like last time, Crytek's newest employee has the Tracy family name, this time, it is MWLL's Co-Lead and Creative Director Daniel "Kamikaze" Tracy who went all the way from Canada to Frankfurt, Germany, to work at Crytek.
Please join the team in wishing Kamikaze a great time and career at Crytek.
Playtest Impressions
Again, here are a few pictures from this week's playtest.

Hot Damn. Any release? Beta? Anything? I want to try this.
NOA.
:pcgaming:
You'd know if you bothered to read the post.
What do you guys think of the mechhangar?
Edit: Alternate link if the previous one didn't work
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=PWF8C4IF
Is that an Owens in bay 7? Also, I'm assuming the clan's hangars won't have a Federated Suns ensign?
Edit: Nevermind...I forgot about that article on crymod from December. (Daishi replaced with Kodiak) :(
Why do ALL of the lights work in the hangar? When's the last time you walked into some kind of military storage/operations facility and saw ALL of the lights working? Make some unlit/broken and it'll have an even more realistic feel.
HAVING WORKING EQUIPMENT IN THE MILITARY IS A SIN AGAINST GOD
Welcome to the ninth overall and first weekly update for June of 2009, presented by the team of the Crysis total conversion modification MECHWARRIOR: LIVING LEGENDS.
After last week's fairly huge update, this one is going to be a bit shorter. This time, we've got the textured Atlas, a short video demonstrating the time-of-day-settings on SA_Extremity and a new set of playtest impressions. Enjoy!
Textured Mech: Inner Sphere Atlas
It's only been a week since we presented to you the four variants of the Inner Sphere's iconic flagship, the Atlas assault Mech. Our artists turned out to be more productive than expected and finished the textures for the Atlas, which is why we're promoting this monster made of 100t of steel again this week. The following screenshot shows the Atlas' new clothes at different times during the day on SA_Clearcut.
Progress Report: SA_Extremity
One of the most unique maps in MWLL's set of confirmed beta release maps, SA_Extremity is making excellent progress in the past days and weeks. While we expected it not to support the impressive "Time of Day"-features that Crysis offers, our level designers still managed to come up with a pretty impressive solution. Check out the short video clip below to see how the skybox changes during the day. The screenshot is a still impression of some of the new assets and terrain that Inner Sphere and Clans will be fighting on. The music for this video has yet again been created for MWLL by Mike Jennings from Sunpost Music.
Playtest Impressions
Again, here are a few pictures from this week's playtest.
where is my beta :O
so awesome. thanks for the update mech
extremity looks so fun ^_^
hey
someone put a sign on freelancers lawn
Stop requesting MWLL betas
-Modacity
Little update.
Progress Report: SA_Sandblasted
From the rocky realms of SA_Extremity, we're back in the sandy, hot desert of SA_Sandblasted. The screenshot below shows one of the bases which has received a number of buildings and other assets to create a real 'military base' feeling in all pilots when preparing to move into battle.
Playtest Impressions
Again, here are a few pictures from this week's playtest.
When do I playtest?
you dont
LOL
This game looks quite great from the screen shots but judging by what I saw when I watched my friend play this it is a very depressing game and needs a lot of work. My friend won't do any work on it though becasue he's a lazy nigger
I'm really looking forward to this. Units are starting to form around a league for it already and I'm in Clan Diamond Shark, if anybody's interested. Oldest continuously active unit in the Netbattletech league, being active for about 12 years straight now.
Hate to sound like I'm advertising, but of course I am, but we're at www.clandiamondshark.com
Mech man, last time I knew you was when you suddenly got good at Halo ( :downs: ), and your CS style map.
Where the years gone bro?
Amazing work from your team and you mate. Really impressed with what you guys have done. =)
Welcome to June's fourth and the twelfth overall weekly update by the team of the Crysis total conversion modification MECHWARRIOR: LIVING LEGENDS.
June has come to an end and wow, it's been a super-busy and productive week. Huge steps in terms of polishing and stabilising have been taken and we're proud to present to you one of the most extensive weekly updates we've had so far. We'll start out with the textured four variants of the Inner Sphere's Mauler and continue with various impressions from SA_Sandblasted. Again, a number of playtest impressions will conclude this update. We recommend to check them out carefully, because there are yet again exciting things to see: yes, it'll be possible to take certain vehicles under water and even fight there.

Four Variants With Textures: Inner Sphere Mauler
Early in April, we introduced to you this Inner Sphere's assault Mech. Finally, it has received its textures which we are proud to present to you today. For size comparison reasons, there's a Longinus in the screenshot and for reasons of completeness, the variants have been explained again.

Progress Report: SA_Sandblasted
One of the team's most recent additions, Rolke, is more and more turning out to be an invaluable asset when it comes to level art: many of the assets you'll see when playing SA_Sandblasted have been created or at least modified by him, who originally joined as a level designer but has proven his value as an environmental artist. Check out some of the most recent changes to MWLL's desert map on the screenshot and panoramas below. http://mechlivinglegends.net/cpg/alb...ed_wu12_02.jpg http://mechlivinglegends.net/cpg/alb...ed_wu12_04.jpg http://mechlivinglegends.net/cpg/alb...ed_wu12_05.jpg

Those are some epic pyramid pictures!
I'm very impressed :)
PotC-style shot of mechs underwater FTW
Your mechs need flamethrowers. With built in scopes.
Nice underwater shots
Loving the fact that you can buy the Owens right off the bat, but I'm a Clanner so I hope we get the Adder, Cougar, or Kitfox off the bat on that side.
Sweet the Mauler is done! Time to shoot the arms off to make it a rabbit! :-3
This thread is gonna make me go play Mechwarrior 4 again.
Play Mech 3 instead :smugghost:
www.netbattletech.com
Entire league that still plays it, although it's dying a bit now.
Good GOD this is looking amazing. Holy shit, I'm definitely looking forward to this on release (it's the only reason I installed Crysis in the first place, hah).
Glad to see this coming together in a playable form, not to mention spectacularly polished. Cant wait to actually be able to play this sometime.
BBL, MW3.
