Halo CE Gameday/night Thursday, 26th

Hey! I would like to see you on Thursday the 26th to participate in a gameday/night in the HCEL server on Halo Custom Edition.

The games should start at 5PM EST and last hopefully up until 10PM.

The server will be unpassworded for people to come and go, much like last time and it worked great.

if for any reason you need an explanation as to finding the server easier or putting maps in your maps folder message me. Last time the server filled up and people wanted to get in, if this occurs sit tight because people are dropping out every now and then.

there's only going to be one server? i suggest there be 2, since it might be packed, just like abyll's zombies :(

Looks good, I'll try to get in the server around 4:30 myself to get things rolling in the right direction.

Server will be renamed to "!HCEL :: Gameday"

e: also people asked why I did h2_blood_gulch and not H2 Coag... It wouldn't load on the server properly for some reason.

ee: Had a problem getting dmt_racing_fixed to work on the server, it would give retrying server message 4 times and kick everyone out get regular and switch out before we play it tomorrow please:[none]

triple edit: Any version of DMT racing bricks the server, doesn't look like we'll be playing it... unless anyone can diagnosis the problem.

dmt_racing only works on slayer and race.

sv_say crashes the server.

So I'm guessing its delayed until Friday? :D

I have the map pack downloading. 20 mins left. I'll go look for my mic right now, then once the maps are downloaded I will join the servers.

First wasn't me, the second one was me doing /svname which is easily the most stable command :S

Hcel has like, 3 active admins and 4 inactive ones.

I had the rcon but some dumbass changed it, all this app stuff is horseshit.

This made me laugh. I had the worst ping and I had been playing failo 3 so much lately I was totally sucking in CE but I still managed to win on a map Ive never played by grabbing the flag and :gtfo:

In closing that was awesome and we need to do it again some time. Hopefully when I can play more than 3 games.

Yeah, that epic hog was fun for the 2 seconds it was actually moving. Then that Gauss Hog tore us apart, but I think I killed one of the guys who was in the Gauss for revenge.

Yea, I remember trying to change it to Blood Gulch just to get something going. Of course that didn't happen because the rcon was changed. :rolleyes:
