Ha ha... I followed a tutorial once... just built a box room with some lights. Nothing too grand. I just think that it restricts the freadom of making a level too much. Needless to say... I didn't care much for Hammer.

Believe me, I don't either. However tf2, and l4d are just such incredibly fun games I'm going to go and learn their level editor :x

I have a love/hate relationship with Hammer. I love how doing some things which would normally be tedious takes all of five seconds and a few clicks, but at the same time, shit which should be easy never quite works no matter how much bloody time and effort you put into it drives me up the wall. I've got about four or five map projects which I barely touch as a result. :|
