[GALLERY] King's Photography
I suppose I'll post some of my photography here. Reaper suggested that I do, and people over at GBX and the [HIV] Forums seem to like my stuff, so here it is. If you want to know some info about a particular picture you can either ask me or check its Flickr page, which I've provided links to in their titles. For the newer ones you can find out the exposure, aperture, etc. info by going to their Flickr page and clicking "more properties" in the right column. Unfortunately over half of them don't have that data though because Photoshop was stripping the EXIF data from them. It took me awhile to figure out how to make it stop doing that.
I need to get out and start taking some pictures again. As you can see from my Flickr photostream, I haven't uploaded anything since June, and I've only uploaded like six pictures this whole year. :/ Whenever I get some new stuff I'll be sure to post it in here.

Love the photography work. Like we said at hivforums, higher res!

Re: [GALLERY] King's Photography
Now this is how people should tone map. Nice and subtle, mapping for dynamic range (as it should be), not for that ridiculous cartoony/"painterly" look, love it!
Looking forward to seeing more of your stuff in future.
Re: [GALLERY] King's Photography
Really really really really really cool photos.
Re: [GALLERY] King's Photography

I dunno, but I didn't see you mention the camera name. (maybe I missed it.)
Great pics, lovely!

It's a Canon Rebel XSi. Everything posted was taken with either the 18-55mm kit lens or a Canon 100mm macro lens. I've been wanting to get a 10-20mm Sigma for awhile now, but haven't gotten around to actually buying it.
Re: [GALLERY] King's Photography
Get me some 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 shots and I'll use some for my wallpaper. <3
Re: [GALLERY] King's Photography
Im digging those pool table photographs. Loovvellly stuff :)
Re: [GALLERY] King's Photography
Magnificent, amazing photos.
Re: [GALLERY] King's Photography
All it needs is...something in the foreground. An old, broken down barn would have been good.
Re: [GALLERY] King's Photography
Very nice photograph.
I like the contrast alot and the colour definition os pretty nice as well.
Re: [GALLERY] King's Photography
Well shit dude. I envy your location. Awesome stuff, very nicely done and great atmosphere.
Re: [GALLERY] King's Photography
Wow. I popped into the studio forum to see if anything caught my eye, and I saw that. Absolutely stunning. Do you by chance have a larger version? I'd love to have it as a desktop in 1680 by 1050.
And this one is pretty too: http://www.flickr.com/photos/3173237...7608992074005/

Lately Early :: HDR, 1680px
There you go. I can't guarantee the quality will be perfect at that size, though (not because I tried to upscale it from that smaller version or anything...I'm not that dumb). I just really need to replace my kit lens. :-3

Re: [GALLERY] King's Photography
How did you get so close without it jumping away? I can never photograph animals up close, not even my two cats.
Re: [GALLERY] King's Photography
That thing hardly tried to go anywhere. The only time he tried to hop away, for the most part, was when I picked him up. I actually put him on that stick myself for the picture, lol. I could have even gotten closer than that, but I didn't try (may not have been able to focus very much closer anyway, idk though).
Re: [GALLERY] King's Photography
I bought a Sigma 10-20mm lens. Just waiting to get it in the mail. :woop:
Re: [GALLERY] King's Photography
All of your pictures are amazing. But someone them give me the sense of being alone, I don't like that, only because myself as a person I hate being alone.
Looking forward to more pictures.
Re: [GALLERY] King's Photography
Bumpage. I drove to Arizona to visit family. Just got back yesterday. Here's one from somewhere in southern New Mexico:
There will most likely be more to come.

King, some really amazing photos. Being from the Midwest as well makes them even better. Great shots.
Love Starburst.

Re: [GALLERY] King's Photography
Thank you. :D
I'm such a fucking slacker. I just can't will myself to work on my photography as of late.
