What the hell is this?
That is pretty cool.
Don't know but it's fucking awesome. I have to know what the name of that song is in the video!
Nice find.
Holy shit, I just saw the video, its :iamafag:
also, it reminds me of the song Requiem of a Dream.
Apparently this is legit, if you look at their contact info and the fact that I saw this posted on Crymod. Honestly I thought the new design is awful. And given that this is a new suit, I'm guessing you're probably not going to play as Nomad in Crysis 2.
I hope you play as nomad, I really really want to find out what happened to prohpet.
Lol.
I have nothing else to say.
Wow... Guess we know what our computers are going to be struggling to render for the next few years. : P
I won't have troubles :P
Also there are console versions, so people with nub comps can run it :P
Looks beefier at the torso-lowerchest area.
Immunizes them agianst fear and fatigue? Sounds like that thing from MGS4 the army dudes had.
i liked how the first one looked better
Didn't they say they were going to stop future PC production?
TEH LAG IS JUST JEALOUS THAT HIS PC IS TOO SHITTY TO PLAY CRYSIS
that aside, I'm really digging the machiavelli quotes, and that theres gonna be another game.
Hey. Just a guess, but to think this might be the start of a Crysis 2 ARG (or some similar viral game). Only thing that makes me think that is the login and contact options and the fact that you get a glimpse of a Username and password in the first video. Still pretty awesome if it isn't though.
And that username is nomad something_something.
Wonder why he's checking out a suit though.
Yea. Username is NOMAD_3VlKF. And Password is censored but contains 14 characters (dont have a clue what Nomad's password would be to be honest). I sent them an email not to long ago so we'll see if this is an ARG soon enough.
Username is actualy NOMAD_3V1KF 1 not I.
THe login screen seems to work and there is a page for contacting them...
I was wondering about that too but when I typed the Username in notepad and the one that looked like the username in the video is with a lowercase "L". It could be "1" though. Still haven't received a reply from them yet.
Edit: It might not hurt if anyone else wants to contact them to. Try talking about the on-site demonstration that was listed on the Nanosuit 2 page.
I'm betting that if you kids play crysis and/or warhead again you might pick up on what it is.
Well i sent them a email by their contact page and got a reply today.

Ok I guess we wait for the login i right now. However I was still intrigued by "on-site demonstration in a combat environment of your choosing" on the N2 Page. Wonder what thats all about?
MyCrysis is a pretty horrific site, most of the userbase is horrifically thickheaded, and incapable of seeing any sides of topic other than their own.
If you're that desperate to log into that, go ahead, but don't expect much from the community lol.
There's also a new audio track on the second video in the media section.
The legs still look as stubby as ever.
Looks a bit better in person. First word that comes to mind is "barrel-chested".
Sounds nice and all, but how does it all apply to gameplay? All I got from that brochure was strength is going to more powerful and use less energy this time around. I think the nanosuit hype has long died down now. I would rather see more ingame videos of the game.
So wait, do I finally get to throw Koreans through forests at many many miles an hour like I thought I'd get to do in the first game?
I agree. #2 looks so badly proportioned in comparison.
Also, the second nanosuit looks like a guy wrapped himself in MIDI cables or something.
Meh, I like the second one better, it's got more beefy protection.
:downs:OMG NO ITS CALLED REQUIEM FOR A TOWER IT WAS FRUM LORD OF THE RINGS THE TEW TOWERS.:downs:
Also, this is the dumbest shit.
Suit looks worse than the old one.
Anyway, Crysis would be a good game if, and only if:
It was STALKER SoC,
It had borderlands weapon system;
Had crysis graphics,
Far Cry 2 Vehicle system,
GTA4 world detail.
That's what crysis could have been, but no. Big pond to play in, same fish everywhere.
For once a FPS actualy executes a pretty good open world design and people complain about it.
For one i actualy enjoyed crysis for what crysis was, an open world FPS that had a decent system set up.
Sure there were a few physics stuff that needed improving like when you flipped a vehicle upside down but in general i think crysis was pretty good.
Yeah, unlike some games where it's so open eowlrd you don't know where your supposed to be going.
An FPS can only go so far before it gets boring and confusing.
The Halo series and Doom series are good examples of how FPS are usualy very linear where as with crysis, you could drive to a enemy camp, swim, cross a rope bridge or go through the forest completely up to you.
actually i kind of agree with dane. partly because ive always felt like crysis was just a tech demo for ce2, wasnt really that fun!!
I still don't understand why (and find it quite amusing that) they want to get people hyped up with a viral campaign about a new character model of all things.
So judging from two measly screens of the preview in PC gamer issue, Crysis 2 will be far from a tropical setting, instead in a jungle style setting.
Is that a game model, if so, HOLY FUCKING SHIT :gonk: What are they trying to do? kill your computer?
US NS looks way better than NS2 in design and proportion.
yea it kinda looks lke theres a chuby guy in the suit
No, think about it. US Nanosuit would require the weared to be skinny as fuck in order to fit inside it. As it is, it looks like it has the proportions of a man by itself, meaning it is either really thin material or you have to be really lean.
The Nanosuit 2 looks chubby, but you could fit the US Nanosuit inside it (helmet not included). The US NS is man-sized, where as the Nanosuit 2 is sized to fit around a man. It looks wonky, but it's also right.
Yeah seriously. it's an exoskeleton. Of course it's going to add some bulkeyness to the user. If anything the original suit was out of proportion.
