Hamachi for Halo 2!!!

Well since the LIVE service for halo 2 has been down since yesterday (no reason as to why yet)

I was freaking out omg i can't play my h2v

so i was talking to gunmonkey80 and he showed me this youtube vid of making hamachi work for halo 2 vista

and oh wowowow

lol you can play multiplayer now!!!
but you click network (use hamachi) instead of LIVE

Also this little patch comes with a reg file so it works for xlive.dll

must register to download the .dll injection but it's worth the register.

And the latest version was released TODAY! so it is supported and all bugs will be fixed.

Hmm, XP, really? I didnt think it'd be possible with Hamachi and thats why I never looked into trying. You cant set a game up or anything, you might be able to just join a server that you know IP of, but its doubtful.

i remember using hamachi for farcry 2. i wouldnt mind trying this out

remember this .dll /regedit for hamachi to override the 30ping limit is still in the beta stages, there will be bugs.

Lets pretend that I did, even though I didn't.

You gotta do the registry edit, and connect to hamachi.
And then start h2v
then load the dll injector
then try to connect

This hack does not work for XP. Just a warning for those who thought it might.

Then again, sp4rtn 117 couldn't connect, so....
