me likes, hopefully newegg carries it.
very nice case.
That's my Dream Case. Thank you for finding this! :neckbeard:
Pretty sure this is my new case. Love the hotswap part up the top. Hopefully it's not going to take ages for it to come to NZ !
Want it.
Looks awesome, might get it for my build.
me likely.
it's basically a giant fan held together with bits of metal. i lol'd.
Gah, a month later and I'd probably have bought it lol
I think the only thing I don't like about it compared to the CM-690 is the new mesh that they put on it. I really like the small hole mesh that's on the CM-690. The CM-690 II appears to have a mesh with larger holes in it.
Wonder how loud it'll get if you filled it up with Yate's.
Even worse, if you filled it with off brand shitter fans. Bet that thing could sound like a jet engine.
I would have bought this for the extra hard drive slots, fan spaces, and hot swappable SATA tray if the HAF 922 didn't look cooler. I've got enough fans on this things, not to mention the huge 200mm fans.
I bought a 4-pack of CoolerMaster 120mm Silent Series fans to install in my HAF 922. They seem to be quiet enough. No louder than the included fans in the case.
HAF-922 looks fugly in my opinion so... Also, the 200mm fans on the HAF are just fluff since you can get better results with 120mm/140mm fans depending on brand/model.
My brother has the HAF 922 case, and I can't say i'm a massive fan. I like my simple cases over ones with lots of indents and such.
Any idea when this will hit NewEgg? It's not on there and the link provided with the video leads to nothing.
I'm probably going to get this just becuase the huge Full Tower I have is annoying, I want something simple and better at cooling (that isn't a $200 lian li.)
They should be available on NewEgg and other online retailers by January 12th. Don't quote me on this though, I'm getting it third hand from someone who heard it from a Cooler Master rep on Hardware Canucks.
There will also be a CM 690 II (not advanced) that doesn't include the top HDD bay (it's not hot swappable on the advanced anyways), VGA retention bracket, removeable HDD bays, SSD brackets, or rear 140mm fan. It'll be about $20 cheaper if you're not worried about those features.
Unfortunately the integrated USB ports on the case are not USB 3.0 spec. :saddowns:
Oh, or you could just buy it now:

I wonder when they'll be on sale. Hopefully I'll be able to get one. :D
It's a REALLY good price already, I doubt they'll go on sale any time soon.
Needs more aluminum.

And that's what the optional windowed side-panel will look like.
Don't like the fan grill :mech:
Me neither, I'll most likely end up getting this as my next case unless something super awesome comes along or I decide to go with a super-tower. When I do I'll put in my own side window.
Saves you about $30 since shipping is included, I'd buy it if I could! :downs:
He's a computer enthusiast with eyes bigger than is wallet duh
Shoulda phrased that better, I'd buy it if I needed a new case right now.
I'll stick with my Cooler Master Strom Scout. But it looks like a nice case. Especially for a case mod.
Still wish they'd start making USB 3.0 standard on cases and motherboards already. It's taking too long.
Yeah, I'm just an eager beaver.
Argh, i'm not getting a response from any NZ online retailers that sell this case. It better not take 6 months like most shit does to come here.
