People who already have the game,your feedback and thought please,here is mine.

System specs:
AMD 3800+ x2 @2.3GHz
2 gig of ram
ATi Radeon X1800XT 512MB
well i have the game and i started to play today but i cant say im really happy,although i waited for this game for years.
1) the game runs really bad on my system, i have a good FPS but i feels like its less 30FPS,i disabled VSYNC didnt helpthe only way its playable is @1024x768 no AA low detail level:mad: .
2)the setting menus doesnt have that many options,not even close the the option in halo 1 .
3)vehicles controls dont really feel right espcialy the banshee,doesnt really respond to the mouse movement
4)very limted option with the silver live account ,you can only browse and join the servers,but you can host from the game,you cant join with direct IP.
thats all for now,i hope they will fix at least some of these issues soon.
so please evryone have the game post your opinions and feedback.

are you using the drivers right from windows for your vidcard or did you download the ones from ATI?

yeah man i feel you 100%. I run at a constant 60fps but it still feels choppy. Banshee same prob. Limited Settings.

8800 GTS 320mb

Runs fine for me. Although there are some weird texture problems on some things. It's taking me a while to get used to tab not being switch weapons. I've wasted many a grenade.

Just installed it annnd first initial things...

Cons:
Keyboard mapping is a bit too detailed, Banshee handles like a Pig, FOV is still hella close compared to H1, maps seem small compared to H1 and not as fun (very early judgement.) UI is a bit cluttered, the in game announcement text is poorly placed at the top of the screen as opposed to the bottom. No "Show Bros"

Pros:

Really good install experience, runs well on my system, lag seems to not be a factor, great server browser.

really...after about 30 min of playing i found myself plugging in my 360 controller....probably because I was a lvl 38 on the xbox so the controller just felt better. other then halo i hate useing a controller. M/K all the way!

Can someone tell me all the controls, like reload, jump, pick up weopon etc.

for mouse and keyboard, I don't plan on ever useing a controller. Pretty much the only reason im getting this game is because of m/k.

WASD is movement, and u can use the arrows as well
Tab and right click (when single wielding) is throw grenade
Q is switch weapons/hold for dual wield
E is use device (ex: enter/exit vehicle) and press and hold to exchange weapon
R is reload
F is melee
Shift is crouch
Z/mouse scroll wheel is zoom
X is flashlight
C is multi-player score
Space bar is jump/warthog E-break/Ghost speed boost
G is switch grenade type
B is team text chat
N is team voice chat
and when dual wielding right click is fire weapon in right hand

Hey, it sounds just like Halo 2 XBOX...only slower.

Right click should be fire the left-handed weapon. That's just abnormal to have the left-click fire the left weapon...as odd as that sounds.

Dual Core Intel 2.GHZ processor
7900GS (256MB of ram)
2 Gigs of ram

I play at the max resolution with 4x AA, and I get around 20-30 FPS. However, my card BSODs my PC with a memory parity error in like less than 10 minutes. I get it on CE, but not as quick. I have all the latest drivers.

Is there an equivalent to the "Action button" in Halo PC/CE (basically, the X Button on a controller) that reloads, enters/exits vehicles, swaps weapons, and flips switches? Or did they break it up needlessly?

Just to summarize:
-Many Options (including Driving with flag, and even choosing wether energy sword can break or not (i think) can be customized.
-Keyboard and mouse keys can all be mapped to your liking.
-Vsync can be disabled by adding -novsync to the 'target' box in the shortcut.
-Mouse sensitivity can be changed.
