You can easily tell the difference between the two, the problem is I just can't describe it =D
Higher res textures, more objects on view, better effects, and a few other things not so easily recognizable from a video.
whoa, just noticed that when it roars, the smoke blows away from it. Nifty.
The lighting and textures seem to be millions better on DX 10.
I liked those Crysis vs real life pictures, because Crysis looked better.

First off, I would like to say that DX9 still has plenty of life in it, and I think it can create rather impressive visuals. Secondly, DX10 is god. I'm just begging for Halo 3 to look half as amazing as Crysis.
