i have like, a lot of portals, but its hard to find those 3 specific clusters out of 100 or so.
Does anybody know what i could do?

but i've not done anythign with h2v, i wouldnt know.
it did this to my last map model..leaving me just to ditch the whole thing
Re-portal it, with a lot more sections.
i did like 5 times,if i do to much sections tool says theres to much regions and wont compile
How big exactly is this map? How many verts / faces? You really shouldn't need that many clusters.
the map has 4200 polygons, and it doesnt work with 4 portals

This is getting really annoying, i spend all this time modeling and texturing, then i get this error, and i have to end up ditching the map, like my last one
theres only 4200 polies
Well i managed to make the error, "less" worse then it was but im still wating for some help
That looks like there are way too many use 2 planes.
just do the portals the proper way, have small planes blocking doorways to seal rooms, then a few big ones outside.

will it compile with out portals at all? I know it sounds stupid, yet it happens. Also check your instanced geometry (if there is any) and see if it intersects your portals they pretty much nullify their effect.
yeah, ive tried no portals, and the isnt any instanced geometry
Have you ever got the map to work? Or did it fail on its first attempt.
Have you ever portaled its height?

Can we get a top-down RENDER (not wireframe) of the level, so we can attempt to assist you with portalling? As stated, the problem is that you have incorrectly portalled your BSP.
It will be hard to see..

EDIT: Still not working, its always the same clusters though, that i cannot find, (orange= Portal Purpule= PlayerClip)
Some faces are flipped for the portals and they are 1 sided

I still can't make anything out of it.
Just post a top-down view of the level without any invisible/special geometry whatsoever; portals, lighting planes, playerclips, etc. Even if you want to surprise us with it, if you don't ever get it working, we'll never see it anyway.
ok, i got rid of some portals, but the rest are part of the mesh, and it would take a while to delete them

Not on the subject of the portals, but I noticed it said you had 1900 renderable materials... apparently you fixed that, but I'm just curious. How the hell did you end up with so many materials?
But yes, I hate portals. My suggestion is to make a couple of throwaway maps and play with portaling them, to get a feel for it, because it's definitely an acquired skill. Maybe look at a couple of existing maps in Sapien with "Show Portals" on, so you can see how others have done it... don't know if you can do that in H2V, but I know you can in HCE.
