[qupte=Infinity001]So you came here looking for a way to make chain-spawning AI? Well?TOO BAD!!! Lol jk.
Making AI chain spawn is not like making projectiles chain spawn. Instead of editing an effect, you have to edit the biped of the AI you want. So?open up the biped tag of the AI you want. In this tutorial, I will be making flood combat forms chain spawn.
So I opened the biped tag. Now what? Well, you head down a little to find a section called Camera Tracks, as seen below. \/
If you look further down, you find ?spawned actor?, ?spawned actor count?, and ?spawned velocity.?
Spawned Actor- determines what is spawned when the biped ?dies.?
Spawned Actor Count- blank-to-blank? duh of course how many AI are spawned when the biped ?dies.?
Spawned velocity- determines how fast the AI pops out of the dead biped.
I changed the biped tag so that one or two unarmed elite combat forms fly out. You can edit how many AI are spawned and how the AI are launched from the dead body?heh heh? A low number like 1 would just make it?appear, while a high number like, I dunno, say, 50, would launch AI to the top of your map!
Pic of changed things \/
Also, most bipeds AREN?T destroyed after dying, so go up to $$$ UNIT $$$ and check the box ?destroyed after dying,? as shown below. \/
So that?s it! All that?s left is to put the AI into a map!
Also, if you want to limit the certain chains, you can duplicate bipeds and make certain AI have those bipeds. If any1 wants more detail about that, ask me and I will add more to this tut.
Thanks for reading, and have fun!
