**SPOILER ALERT**
MC dies of old age in Halo 8! Is resurrected in Halo 9 by the Forerunners to finish the hike to 10 numbered Halo games!
And then when he finally dies in 10 because all of his bits decay, he is placed into a Dreadnought-type mech-sarcophagus and continues to "Finish the fight" for another 10 Halo games.
...and stars in ahitmovie alongside Robin Williams.
