In all seriousness, though, I've never used bevel. Chamfer was the first tool I found that rounded edges, and it's the only one I've used since.

Actually, how does this weapon work? It might be interesting to have clear panels on the sides of the weapon made of that curiously unbreakable combine glass. Assuming this is just for show and isn't going into anything.

What I have planned is to have this look like a slightly curvier take on the Razor Train's design, with lots of oddly-shaped loose panels and mismatched joints.
Didn't you say this was supposed to be a combine-ish sniper? If so, it needs more of that patchwork look to it, and I don't think pulse technology uses shell casings.So I updated the sniper more (hate shot tags, I use spoilers instead):

I also hollowed out the right side of the cheekpiece (was previously just a flat face), and made a little extrusion around the ejection port hood. I'll probably add details such as slight ridges and grooves along the shroud later.
Ross, your sniper rifle looks like it would make a fabulous Nerf gun. Keep up the good work.
